"After the first meeting, we knew we'd found someone who fit our style. Cori sat down with us, listened to the music that we love, sifted through our song choices, and gave us her own recommendations for what might work in each moment. Her knowledge of the wedding mechanics helped us plan the entire proceeding - our wedding could not have been more perfectly tailored! She has a fantastic sense of humor, an extensive understanding of music, and a gift for connecting with the people for whom she plays. I couldn't recommend anyone better!"

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
FAQ
DO WE NEED A DJ OR CAN WE JUST PLUG IN AN IPOD AND CALL IT GOOD?
A DJ does more than just set up some speakers, stand in the corner and press play. A good DJ is like a conductor. making sure all of the different instruments come together; at the right time, in harmony, to make a beautiful piece of music. A good DJ starts by working with you to learn what your expectations and wishes are, and puts together a timetable to help you get a better idea of how the event will feel. A good DJ makes recommendations and puts together a playlist based on your specific preferences. A good DJ reads the crowd, and makes subtle adjustments to keep the party going. A good DJ is also your go-to person on the day of your event; they will tell you if you have something in your teeth, run interference for you with your new mother-in-law, and call your old roommate a cab when he's had too much to drink. So yes, you could certainly set up some speakers and an iPod, but that's all you'll have - speakers and an iPod.
DO I NEED TO TIP MY DJ?
Tips are certainly appreciated, but are not expected. If you are especially pleased with the way your event turned out, and believe your DJ played a role in making your day a success, then you are more than welcome to reward him/her with a tip. But that is entirely up to you.
DO I NEED TO MAKE A LIST OF ALL THE SONGS OR DOES THE DJ PICK THE MUSIC?
You can have as much or as little to do with choosing the music as you would like. If you are a music lover who has a very specific taste and want to make a list, we are certainly willing to let you take the helm. If you'd like us to make suggestions, we're happy to offer our expertise. Or if you have no idea where to start, and the idea of creating a playlist intimidates you, we'll alleviate your stress by creating a playlist for you.
DO YOU TAKE REQUESTS?
Of course we do, if you want us to! Through the years, we have heard folks say that the DJ wouldn't take my request! That blows our mind! Our most important job is to make you happy. Our second most important job is to make sure your guests are having fun. If you'd like us to take requests, we'll be glad to do so.
IF THE PARTY IS GOING WELL, DO YOU HAVE TO STOP?
Depending on what package you book, if your event is going well and there's not an issue with the venue or the other essential vendors, we are usually able to stay beyond the set time, for an extra $125 for each hour, which is to be paid by the end of the event.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept cash, check, Venmo (@Corinna-Skall) and credit card payments. A deposit of $200 secures the date. The balance is due 30 days before the event.
